The number 10 has been known to be a number of manifestation, and January 14, 2014 to November 14, 2014 marked approximately 10 months, as well as one year from the date of my mother’s passing.
On Nov. 14th, 2013, the seed idea for this campaign came to me when my best friend Sharonda’s mother LaVerne gifted me with the book 
Early in the morning the next day, a flood of ideas flowed through me. I realized that in order to manifest two long-time external desires, I had to make a commitment to two internal desires that would serve as my foundation.
MISSION: To encourage, inspire and support others in manifesting their desires by blogging about my 10-month commitment to manifest my internal and external desires in honor of my mother.
TWO INTERNAL DESIRES
T.A.P into Happiness
Happiness is an inside job and isn’t something that is accomplished by external goals alone. To “T.A.P” into happiness my formula consists of T-rusting that G.O.D and my guides want my success more than I do, A-ccepting what manifests in my life, knowing all things (good and bad) are ultimately serving a perfect purpose, and being P-resent in my body with presence and gratitude at all times.
Allow True Intimacy in Relationships
Although everyone’s soul is crying out for intimacy, it seems like being physically naked is more easy and desirable than being emotionally naked. Yet, there can be no true intimacy without vulnerability, and vulnerability is the gift we give to others when we love ourselves. I commit to loving myself enough to allow true intimacy in all of my relationships, especially for this year, as a host of astrological configurations puts the focus on healing and celebrating our relationships.
TWO EXTERNAL DESIRES
While my two, 10-month external desires are to travel write and book publish, the more long-term Pushing Daisy Drive fundraiser is also close to my heart. So for the next 10 months, I’m committed to traveling writing, book publishing and fundraising.
My long-time desire has always been to travel write professionally. It makes sense. I love to travel and I love to write. Back in 2008, I even attended V!VA’s Travel Writing Boot Camp. Yet, because of my person’s fear of failure, I’ve put this desire off, time and time again. During the next 10 months, I am committed to manifesting this desire and I know it will be a challenge-until it’s not. You can view my Blog Post Pageto find out more about the weekly line-up.
My forthcoming book Prayers of a Virgin: 52 Weeks of Poetic Inspiration and Personal Planetary Guidance with the Destiny Cards promises to be my best work to date! Inspired by the death of my mother, this book is both a motivational prayerbook, as well as an astrological guidebook, specific to your birth date. This will be an actual book that is accompanied by a .pdf formatted, 52 Week Report that reveals your personal daily life cycles that you will be able to record in the book and use as a planning guide to make better choices.
Eric Pearl, healer and author of The Reconnection: Heal Others, Heal Yourself mentions the importance of having triggers in our lives to help us grow. Triggers are topics that bring up strong emotion. I like to use “trigger” words in my book titles that may bring up predetermined ideas in people’s mind in order for us to address them collectively.

While the word virgin brings up different things for different people, I define virginity as a person who is owning unto themselves and not claimed by anyone. To me, true virginity has less to do with purity based on sex and more to do with ownership. We are all “claimed” by certain things whether they be good or bad- a nation, a person or a philosophy, and yet we are also “virgins” in other things as well.
What we put our focus on is our prayer, and when we are “unclaimed and focused” in any area that is real power. This book will inspire you to “reclaim” aspects of yourself, and address the importance of the prayers of all virgins to create a vision for tomorrow…today.
