Contest Results: Good News, Bad News & An Opportunity

The Conscious Co-Creator Contest  that began August 22nd in order to get feedback on your biggest challenges around conscious co-creation, as well as for my upcoming book Prayers of a Virgin: 52 Weeks of Poetic Inspiration and Personal Planetary Guidance with the Destiny Cards has come and gone, ending on Sept. 8th. I have some good news and some bad news regarding the contest, so I guess I’ll start with the “bad” news first.

The Bad News

I haven’t received not one comment to my  Conscious Co-Creator Contest post, so therefore there was no winner. To date, only four people have taken the survey (a thank you shout out to each of you!), so I have good, but a limiting amount of feedback as to what people would like to master to become a better conscious co-creator.

The Good News

This experience has given me the opportunity to be non attached to the outcome and to get a better sense of what it takes to be successful with an on-line business and blog. To be honest, if it weren’t for me having fun during this whole process and learning something new everyday,  one might be tempted to say this whole 10-Month Campaign hasn’t mounted to much of anything, with a whopping 3 comments from visitors since the beginning! Yet, here is where they’ d be oh so wrong, because as my auntie used to say, “What don’t kill you makes you stronger.”

This weekend, I had the opportunity to listen to the free 21 Day Global Event, Crazy Courage hosted by Kyana Miner. I was reminded as I listened to the courageous stories of the people being interviewed that success doesn’t come all at once. Yet, when you refuse to give up and learn to enjoy the process, things slowly but surely begin to turn in your favor.

The Opportunity

My forthcoming book, Prayers of a Virgin: 52 Weeks of Poetic Inspiration and Personal Planetary Guidance with the Destiny Cards recently got accepted on Pubslush. As a global pre-publication platform that offers crowdfunding and pre-orders to the literary world, I have the unique opportunity to spread the word about my book before the actual campaign kickoff date on Oct. 31st. Since they are fairly new, they provide a lot of support and resources to make your campaign successful. They even have an option for people to purchase your book after your campaign is complete. I’m really glad that I chose to go with Pubslush. Just today, they tweeted about my book and I was so surprised! This type of support is something I could never expect to receive on Kickstarter or GoFundMe.

Call to Action

Please go to my page Prayers of a Virgin and become a fan before it launches on Oct. 31st and help spread the word early. Since the campaign hasn’t officially started, I’m not asking for you to make a donation, but simply let more people know I exist. Also, there is a link for you to take the book survey so that I can get more feedback on your  biggest challenges around conscious co-creation.

P.S. I’d like to give a special shout out to Nova of Wisdom Worlds who did an excellent job on the book cover! Check it Out Here
