Because I know that you share my concern about the devastating impact of Alzheimer’s Disease on the African American community I am sending you an early copy of my Washington Post Magazine story “A Quiet Desperation” which investigates WHY African Americans are twice as likely as whites to develop Alzheimer’s and profiles a family impacted by the disease.
