Our Parents: Our Power & Our Path

One of the greatest teachings I received from Zoey Marae, the late great medical intuitive, was that mothers represent our power and fathers represent our path. She used the analogy of a river, with the mother being the body of water and the father being the river bed.

It’s ironic that my mother was born in Antigua where they brag of having 365 beaches for every day of the year and my father was born in Dominica where they brag of having 365 rivers for everyday of the year. Our “mother power” is the amount of water and our “father path” is the ease of flow and direction of the water.

Our Power

What I know to be true about power is that it comes from our spiritual foundation. Contrary to what many believe, we are spiritual beings having a human experience. While I inherited a strong spiritual foundation from my mother, one of her weaknesses was not knowing how to direct her power to manifest her dream of becoming a successful social entrepreneur.

Our Path

What I know to be true about a positive pathway is that it comes from our perception. Contrary to what many believe, how we see ourselves and the world is based on what we perpetually think. My father was MIA most my childhood, so although I’m unaware of him leaving a learning legacy, he did the best he could and left me a lineage to one of the most beautiful places on the planet-Dominica.

“Power without a positive pathway does not lead to happiness.”

Because we inherit our power and our path from our parents, we start off with certain strengths and weaknesses from the get go, but it’s up to us as adults to maximize our strengths and minimize our weaknesses.

Publishing Prayers of a Virgin

When I first started what has now been a seven year journey to publish Prayers of a Virgin: 52 Weeks of Poetic Inspiration and Personal Planetary Guidance with the Destiny Cards (POV) both my parents were alive. Just like my mother, my challenges have been around consciously co-creating my life and my living doing what I love as a light beacon, unbought and unbossed. POV has been a real labor of love and points the way for all light beacons to become better conscious co-creators of the life they desire by reclaiming their “virgin mindset.” It also provides a fun, hands-on approach to learning Cardology, an ancient astrological system hidden in the deck of playing cards.

The Million Dollar Question

Now that my power and my path have both passed, in what area and in what manner do I create my own powerful pathways in the world? From today, the date of my mother’s sunrise, Sept. 26th, to POV’s Publication Day, the date of my father’s sunset, Oct. 12th, will prove to be a powerful period for me in declaring my power and my path and it will all take place on Patreon’s platform.

Why POV Was Postponed

Originally POV was going to be published today on my mother’s Earthday; however, after attending a Hay House Writer’s Workshop webinar, I realized I had more revisions to make. The new publication date is scheduled for Oct. 12th, the day my father made his transition, which actually is a much better date astrologically.

Ironically, I made the decision to change the date just when Saturn stationed direct on Sept. 18th! During this 7 year period, I was so focused on my mother since she passed away shortly after I began this project and completely forgot to mention my father passing in the dedication page as well! It’s  become clear to me now that as I declare and reclaim my path as a writer and entrepreneur, I can’t forget to acknowledge my papa, my path.

Remember, this is the rough draft version, so I  look forward to your feedback! Please post a comment below, on my Who I Communications FB page or contact me directly if you don’t like to leave comments.  Enjoy!

Part 1 of Chapter 2: The Reclaim Game

First rule when dealing with the devil- don’t.” Colonel Madden: [to the rebel leader] From movie, Solo 1996

I have two questions to ask you that I’m almost certain will lead you to ask two questions of your own.

Question #1:

Who or what is the “devil” and how do we all make deals with the devil daily without even knowing it?

The best definition for the devil I’ve ever heard came out of the mouth of Reverend Ike in his famous Gift of Money Seminar.

He states, “The devil is a fallen angel. What does that mean? A thought that has fallen from God…The devil shows us what happens to our thoughts when we let them fall from God. Every thought that we let fall from God becomes a devil and a demon to us.”

So basically, what made the devil or Lucifer “fall” was the thought that there is something, anything, separate from G.O.D.

Question #2:

Who or what is G.O.D. and why have I made the name an acronym?

I know the word God means different things to different people. Some see God as a benevolent and kind Creator, some see God as a cruel and vengeful dictator, some don’t think we should use the word “God” of German/Dutch origin to represent a Higher Power, while others don’t even believe there is a God at all. My use of the term G.O.D. as an acronym relates to this Higher Power as being the Generator, Operator and Destroyer of all that is in existence.

In these three modes, G.O.D starts out as the Generator of life, then the Operator or Organizer/Sustainer of life, and lastly the Destroyer or Transformer of life in order for the new to come out of the old. It’s very simple. In order for a new day to arrive, another must end.

In my e-book, AOOS, I briefly explain how we are all avatars for G.O.D. to experience Itself via Its Creation. In order for this Pure Life Force Energy we call G.O.D. to experience Itself in all aspects of creation, It uses form. It uses US! And sometimes, what came before must be “destroyed” or transformed in some way to make way for a new expression. This aspect of G.O.D. is the one thing that gives that part of us identified with form and being separate from G.O.D. in our perception the most problems in life, just as it did the devil. We resist change and therefore we resist G.O.D.’s natural Generating, Operating and Destroying process. But as you will see, this is also all part of the process as well.

Let me give you an analogy to put things in perspective, because perspective is what we need more than anything. Imagine you’re a newlywed on your honeymoon, enjoying a moonlit night on the balcony of your 5 star villa overlooking the Caribbean sea with your spouse. Then in a instant, you both witness a beautiful falling star in the night sky, making the night even that more special, right? Yes, for you all; however, not for all the beings in that solar system if it happened to have life on it! That night would represent fire and brimstone and an end to life as they knew it! So as you can see from this analogy, everything in life is about perspective.

So here are the two questions I can hear you asking:

Question #1:

Why is it necessary for G.O.D., the Creator of All There Is, to have to experience Itself through It’s creation?

Since my person was created by a Higher Power, I can’t speak for that which created me as to why; however, as a human endowed with the power to co-create life, I would guess it’s similar to why any parent chooses to have children. And not every parent chooses to have children for the same reasons.

Question #2:

Why did the devil or Lucifer (or anyone for that matter) have to fall in the first place?

The more I understand what G.O.D. was up to when creating this simulation game called Life to experience Itself, the more I come to realize that none of this is real. However, it sure does feel real and that’s exactly what we came here to experience.

Just like a video game or a good movie, we desire the experience. The better the movie, the more powerful the villain or the obstacle to overcome. The harder the level of your video game, the sweeter the reward. Tending a garden is a fulfilling thing, yet to nurture and watch a child blossom from an infant into an adult is a challenging, yet even more rewarding, worthwhile experience (at times!).

Looking at things from this perspective, I guess you can say “falling” is part of the game of life and it doesn’t even have to be seen as a bad thing. The sun slowly falls out of the sky each day bringing darkness for a time, but you don’t see anyone crying too hard because they know it will come out tomorrow. However, the moment we forget and believe (I mean truly believe) there is anything separate from G.O.D. in our heart and mind, then we’ve made a deal with “the devil.” Yet, even to think of the devil as separate is a trap. The devil gives us or “tempts” us to make decisions based on what we want from a limited understanding of the evolutionary purpose for life, and G.O.D gives us or “motivates” us to make decisions based on what we need from a more universal understanding. They both give us free will to choose, and they both are necessary-two sides of the same coin called Life.

What the boy in the movie The Matrix tells Neo is true- “none of this is real!” Yet and still, it’s an experience our Higher Self (that part of our being that is connected with G.O.D.’s purpose for our life) chose to have by being incarnated into a body. In the movie The Matrix 2, Neo asks the oracle, “If you already know, how can I make a choice?” She replies, “Because you didn’t come here to make the choice, you’ve already made it. You’re here to try to understand why you made it.”

The Reclaim Game

Every single action you take in your life and every experience you have has meaning and is fulfilling a purpose and it’s the purpose and meaning YOU give it. When we as a collective lost our connection to G.O.D., we also lost the connection and awareness between our higher self and lower self, our conscious mind and our subconscious or super conscious mind. By focusing on understanding what the Creator and our Higher Self were up to before we incarnated here on Earth, we unify this disconnection and thus become enlightened. Enlightened to our whole Self, the unity of our Higher and Lower Self; which, to me, is the true definition of Self-Love. In doing this, you will find that up to that point of enlightenment, there was little of nothing that needed changing-only your perception and perspective about it.

Tony Robbins, world renowned motivational speaker and author of, MONEY Master the Game: 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom, mentioned in his book that a few people were actually outraged with the title that suggests that money could be seen as a game. Part of his response is as follows, “…and remember, not all games are frivolous. Games are a reflection of life. Some people sit on the sidelines, and some play to win. How do you play?”

The Reclaim Game measures your skills and ability to stop making daily deals with the devil and to get off that trickster Lucifer’s concept of reality based on separation. In order reclaim your life, aside from having the proper tools, desire and commitment for change, you also have to have the right paradigm. With the right skills, commitment and the right concept of reality, all things are eventually possible. All you have to do is just live your life and love this life knowing it’s all an illusion and a game you chose to play.

POV Promo- Blook Ch. 1- My 2020 Vision (Pt. 5 of 10)

POV Monday Promo is a ten-part series leading up to the publication of Prayers of a Virgin: 52 Weeks of Poetic Inspiration and Personal Planetary Guidance with the Destiny Cards. POV Monday Promo’s goal is to get the needed feedback and funds to edit, format and publish the printed book through Amazon Pre-Order Sales. The promo will also build a buzz around the book via “blooking” the first 3 Chapters before the e-book launches on  September 26th.

In Pt. 5 of this series, I’ve posted Ch. 1: My 2020 Vision. I  look forward to your feedback! Please post a comment below, on my Who I Communications FB page or contact me directly if you don’t like to leave comments. Either way, I am thrilled and thankful to be sharing my greatest gifts at a crucial time on this planet. Next week, I go a little deeper in Ch. 2: The Reclaim Game, which will be broken up into 3 parts. Enjoy!

Chapter 1: My 2020 Vision

My mission is to motivate myself and other magnetic, melanin aware light beacons to become better conscious co-creators of the life they desire, while removing race, gender and generational blockages on the path to planetary oneness.

To be a light beacon that is “magnetic and melanin aware,” it doesn’t matter if you are Black or White, female or male, old or young; because, when you honor the feminine and melanin within you, you help to bring yourself and the planet into balance and wholeness, which is so needed at this time of planetary evolution.

What IS Conscious Co-Creation & Why Is It Important?

For better or worse, you are constantly co-creating your life circumstances with the Creator of All There Is in your every thought, word and action. Yet, what if you could do so more consciously? What would it be like if you knew (just like you know when you’re hungry) how to tap into Creator Source to co-create the mental, emotional and financial breakthroughs you know you deserve?

Now imagine if we could ALL consciously co-create the lives we desire on every level. Do you think we would spend so much time complaining or getting into power struggles with others? No! However, because of a loss of faith and a lack of trust, it feels almost impossible or even futile to fully commit to attaining our desires.

This is one of the biggest reasons I’m dedicated to my mission. Facing the shadow of some of my greatest wounds involving racism, sexism and ageism has over time transformed into my greatest gifts, allowing me to delve deep into the unknown to find the truth behind the veil of illusions. If I can inspire just one of you to reclaim all those dreams you’ve allowed life to steal from you, then that makes my work all the more meaningful.

What Exactly IS Your 2020 Vision?

Since I’ve worn glasses since the age of 5, I’m definitely not talking about my eyesight! Aside from striving to be a better living example of the light and change I want to see in the world, my 2020 vision is to finish writing 6 books sharing powerful practices and principles for conscious co-creation and to promote & publish 3 of them by the year 2020.

So far, I’ve finished two of the six books. Prayers of a Virgin: 52 Weeks of Poetic Inspiration and Personal Planetary Guidance with the Destiny Cards (POV) is the second completed book toward my six book mission. As a 52 week inspirational guidebook and astrological calendar specific to your birthdate, POV helps you understand your life path and cycles to make better choices using Cardology, an ancient astrological system coined the Destiny Cards by Robert Camp.

The first book, Afraid of Our Own Shadow: A Manifesto and Guide for Conscious Co-Creation (AOOS), was published in 2013. AOOS is a 40 page e-book that covers the seven steps to become a better conscious co-creator, the three societal wounds that prevent conscious co-creation, and the four pitfalls and how to avoid them. AOOS can be considered the practical, hands-on, how-to part of the third and much larger work entitled, It’s All G.O.∅.D.: A Conscious Creator’s Guide to Healing the Effects of White Supremacy (IAG). Part memoir, part paradigm shifting guidebook, IAG promises to be my most thought provoking book to date.

The last three of the six books are part of a series entitled, Conversations With a Virgin: On Race, Gender and Generations. This three part series will be a collection of interviews with some of the most radiant, outspoken, heart-centered light beacons of every race, gender, and generation. We’ll not only cover conscious co-creation, but we’ll also delve deeply and openly into the topics of racism, sexism and ageism and whatever else makes its way to the surface.

POV’s INSPIRATION

POV was inspired by the death of my mother, Daisy Elizabeth King Bellony, who made her transition on Thursday, November 14, 2013 (the same day of the week and year as her mother, exactly 56 years earlier!). On Jan. 14, 2014 of the following year, I started a 10-Month Manifest Your Desires Campaign in her memory. My mission was to encourage, inspire and support others in manifesting their desires by blogging about my 10-month commitment to manifest my desires in honor of my mother. While bestselling author Elizabeth Gilbert , “Ate, Prayed, and Loved” her way through Italy, India and Indonesia, I set out to “Travel Write, Fundraise and Book Publish” my way through those 10 months of the campaign.

Pushing Daisy Drive

A portion of the sales of this book will go toward the Pushing Daisy Drive (Driven By Miss Daisy’s Daughter), which is an on-going, long-term vision to build an eco-friendly home and health educational center in Antigua, West Indies, in honor of my mother’s legacy of service. A world of thanks to you if you have purchased this book! Your support brings me one step closer to manifesting my desire. If you haven’t purchased this book or would like to learn about the seven ways you can support the drive, go to my travel blog.

POV’s TITLE

If you get down and you quarrel everyday, you’re saying prayers to the devils I say.” -Bob Marley

The inspiration for this book title came from my first love back in my college days when he called me out of the blue after not hearing from him in years. He was calling to ask me a favor and what came out of his mouth surprised me, even today when I think of it. He said, “I need the prayers of a virgin.” At that time, I was a little shocked and embarrassed because, I didn’t hold my virginity as a badge of honor, but rather something that alienated me from the rest of society in some unspoken way.  I’ve come a long way since then and part of the reason it’s taken me so long to write my book in the past has had to do with me exposing my “literal” virginity up to age 32. In truth, I’ve always seen virginity as neither good nor bad, however, it’s the values, beliefs and judgments that society projected on me around sexuality that I’ve empathically picked up on and allowed to hinder my full expression. Now that I’ve broken free from all the mental madness, I’m also more free to share my most poetic expressions without concern for what others might think. So, from now on, I’ll be taking Dr. Seuss’ advice to, “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”

Eric Pearl, healer and author of The Reconnection: Heal Others, Heal Yourself  mentions the importance of having triggers in our lives to help us grow. Triggers are topics that bring up strong emotions. I like to use “trigger” words in my book titles that may bring up predetermined ideas in our minds in order for us to address them collectively.

While the word virgin brings up different things for different people, I define virginity as a person who is owning unto themselves and not claimed by anyone.

In the book, The Great Cosmic Mother: Rediscovering the Religion of the Earth, authors Monica Sjoo and Barbara Mor wrote:

“Virgin” meant not married, not belonging to a man-a woman who was “one-in-herself.” The very word derives from a Latin root meaning strength, force, skill; and was later applied to men: virile. Ishtar, Diana, Astarte, Isis were all called virgin, which did not refer to sexual chastity, but sexual independence.

To me, true virginity has less to do with purity based on sexual intercourse and more to do with ownership. We are all “claimed” by certain things whether they be good or bad (a nation, a person or a philosophy), and yet we are also “virgins” in other areas of life experience.

What we put our focus on is our prayer, and when we are “unclaimed” and focused in any area, that is real power. This book will inspire you to reclaim aspects of yourself, and address the importance of the prayers of all virgins to create a vision for tomorrow…today!

WHAT POV HOPES TO ACHIEVE

For the Writer

Sharing my greatest gifts is my highest experience and expression of LOVE. This heals me in the writing and hopefully inspires and enlightens you in the reading. I’m thankful to not only have the opportunity to channel my poetic inspirations, but to also share my wisdom and knowledge to bring more awareness about Cardology, an ancient and amazingly accurate astrological system, hidden in the ordinary deck of playing cards!

For the Reader

Coined the Destiny Cards by Robert Camp, Cardology is powerful tool that I’ve been graced to learn and it has helped to guide and direct my life for well over 20 years. By helping you become more aware of this ancient astrological system hidden in the deck of playing cards, POV hopes to provide tools for you to become a better conscious co-creator by understanding your life path and cycles to make better choices. You still have to choose. However, I hope this book opens you to a new perspective, a new paradigm, and a new way of looking at the world that inspires you to choose more wisely.

For the World

As with all my books, I hope POV serves as a guide to inspire those who are where I was or who are where I’m going on the path to planetary oneness. I hope POV contributes to a new dialog that helps to shift the current paradigm on how we see the Earth and her inhabitants and brings us closer together. This book wants to assist in creating a world where people take responsibility for their actions and are actually able to do so because of having a higher understanding of how everything is interconnected and especially connected to G.O.D.

Conscious Co-Creation: Step 7 (Part 2)

Today’s inspiration comes from Part 2 of Chapter 11 of my e-book, Afraid Of Our Own Shadow: A Manifesto and Guide to Conscious Co-Creation. Enjoy!

Manifest Mondays

Chapter 11: Conscious Co-Creation: Step 7 (Part 2)

Power Action #1

Act as If You Already Have it, While Acting on Inspiration in the Moment

Notice how it feels when you see yourself with your goal accomplished. If it feels bad or uncomfortable, you can do one or two things. You can continue to observe the feeling without judgment and/or if that is too difficult, you can change to another goal that you feel better about when you think of it. Either way, the goal is to eventually and consistently feel good when you imagine that you already have it. The key is to wait in joy and not dread. One way to do this is by creating anticipation just as if you were in line waiting to go on your favorite ride at the amusement park. It’s also important that we act on whatever inspirations come up in the moment, because these are the gifts that lead to our destiny.

Power Action #2

Raise Your Energy

As you now know, if you are feeling good, then you are doing good. If you are not feeling good about your goal or just in general, it’s important that you actively engage in things that raise your energy. There are many ways to do this and I’m sure you have a few you can share with me. Here are a few examples:

* Improve your eat habits

*Do physical and energetic exercises

*Meditate

* Be in nature barefooted

* Watch and/or play with children

* Change your perspective by searching for all the things you have to be thankful about at every moment

Power Action #3

Send Energy to Others

When you give to others what you want for yourself (from a position of strength and awareness), then you are truly giving to yourself and are doubly graced. Yet, it’s important that we raise our energy first because we can’t pour water into a glass if there isn’t anything in the pitcher. Sending energy to others can be as simple as when you hear about the success of others you know, you give them good praises (energetically or verbally). Notice what comes up for you. If thoughts of jealous or judgment want to rear their ugly heads, let them without resistance and without judgment or even ownership. This is good practice because first of all, the negative thought may not even be yours and just part of the “collective pain body.” In that case, you can just say, “Return to sender with loving consciousness attached.” I can’t tell you how important this power action is because not only are you instantly graced when you give to others, you also have an additional opportunity (or practice) to see all the areas where your person may be blocking your growth, thus increasing your energy even more.

Power Action #4

Understand the Creative Process

Artist understand that in order to paint a picture or write a poem or whatever they want to create, they can’t spend ALL their time and energy looking at others artwork or reading others poetry. This may give them perspective and inspiration, but sooner or later, they have to focus solely on their art in order to birth it into existence. The creative process requires us to focus on what we want and not on what we don’t want. Can you imagine a painter being able to successfully complete a picture by thinking and visualizing on all the things she doesn’t want to go in her picture? No!

Robert Fritz, an artist himself, has written many books on the creative process and how to apply it to everything. I would highly recommend reading any of his work as well.

So that’s the final power action and that brings us to the end of Step #7. Whew! We finally made it! I hope this has been useful to you. It has been a great joy and my greatest gift to offer this e-book manifesto and guide to my Earth family at this time. I wish you all the happiness and joy that life has to offer.

Conscious Co-Creation: Step 7 (Part 1)

Today’s inspiration comes from Part 1 of Chapter 11 of my e-book, Afraid Of Our Own Shadow: A Manifesto and Guide to Conscious Co-Creation. Enjoy!

Manifest Mondays

Chapter 11: Conscious Co-Creation: Step 7 (Part 1)

In this chapter, I’ll be sharing the seventh and final step to Becoming a Conscious Co- Creator. Instead of giving you an activity, I’ll be sharing four power actions that are essential to conscious co-creation.

Step #7

Choose What You Want to Co-Create and Be Habitually Happy Until it Happens

Before I get started on Step #7, we’ll do another quick review of the steps we’ve already covered:

Step 1: Know Who and What GOD Is
Step 2: Know Your Intrinsic Worth as an Aspect of Divinity

Step 3: Align Your Person, Your Power, and Your Purpose With the Creator of All That Is
Step 4: Allow Old Charge to Come Up Without Resistance
Step 5: Stay Present With Presence-Releasing the Need for Approval and the Need to Impress
Step 6: Use Genuine Remorse to Take You to Zero Point So You Can Powerfully Declare What You No Longer Want

All the steps leading up to this last step were essentially to prepare you for the simple task of consciously co-creating. Believe it or not, G.O.D and our Guides want to see us happy and fulfilled more than we want it ourselves. When we are in alignment with the first 6 steps and aware of the 4 major pitfalls, then co-creation has a much better chance of actualizing because we don’t get in the way of G.O.D and our Guides.

In Step 3, you created a new self-image by aligning your Person, your Power and your Purpose with the Creator of All There Is. Now it’s time to specifically declare the things you’d like to Have, Be and Do, while being habitually happy until it happens.

The two keys to conscious co-creation are to set goals that you can be happy or feel good about and to keep this emotion of happiness at all costs until it becomes a habit and eventually happens in your life. It doesn’t make sense to set a goal that doesn’t make you feel happy when you think about it. The golden rule here is to start small with goals you can genuinely feel happy about when you think or visualize them in your life.

Here’s another important point:

When you are determining what things you’d like to Have, Be or Do, make sure to do three things:

1. Form the goal as a question
2. Be sure to include how it will make you feel

3. Don’t focus on a specific time or avenue for it to manifest because the unseen realm has ways and means that the     conscious mind knows not of.

So here are a few examples:

“Why am I totally enjoying myself doing all the things I set out to accomplish this month?”

“Why am a feeling total trust and happiness, while meeting all my financial obligations with ease and grace?”

If you really want to get powerful, you can set the goal in the past tense as if it already happened like this:

“How did I have fun gracefully actualizing the funds to attend that retreat, and how did I manage to have a great time meeting such wonderful people and learning so many enlightening things?”

Now I must admit, it took me awhile to have the courage to start co-creating with confidence. My person had all those worries like, “Have I cleared enough old stuff to be successful?” Or, “When will I finally be done with clearing all this old stuff?” Also, there was the disappointment my person felt when things didn’t show up like it wanted. If this may be the case with your person also, then I am going to share four essential power actions that can assist you in boosting your co-creation power…

Four Things I’ve Learned in the Last Six Months

With approximately four months left in the 10-Month Manifest Your Desires Campaign, I’d like to share four things I’ve learned so far. These four lessons are important because I know my person would’ve never learned them if a commitment hadn’t been made. Declaring to the world that you’re going to do something and then having to be accountable for that something is one of the greatest lessons you can ever learn, especially when that “something” speaks to your heart and honors your being.

LESSON #1: Know & Focus on What Your MOST Passionate About First

The greatest take-away I’ve had so far from List-A-Palooza’s: 90 Day List-Building Challenge came from  Suzanne Monroe, founder of International Association of Wellness Professionals. She shared five steps that I’ll summarized here: 1) Be clear about what you are most passionate about 2) Know what you are good at  3) Match up your “unique brillance” with the right business model 4) Create a simple way people can learn from you 5) Share your message

These steps allowed me to see that by focusing on what I’m most passionate about (and already good at)  first, I’m more able to gain the momentum to accomplish my other less passionate goals. Yet as it stands to date, I’ve spent the past six months trying to master the things that my person is passionate about, but not that good at yet. This has left hardly anytime to focus on the creative writing aspect of my upcoming book.

LESSON #2: Self-Love Leads to Lessons Learned

My commitment to loving myself no matter what  has played a great role in learning a great lesson. When I found myself constantly procrastinating and finding excuses to not execute my continuously evolving plans, my person’s first reaction was to want to beat myself up for not being more disciplined. Yet, because I am committed to allowing myself the same kindness as I would a kindergartner learning to tie her shoes, I was able to go deeper. Something was off.  As blues singer BB King would say, “The Thrill is Gone” and I didn’t know why. Yet, because I trusted my body enough to know something was off, I didn’t need to know what was off  before  going back to the basics and asking for help.

LESSON #3: Guiding Principles Prevent a Predicament

When I began the 10-month Manifest Your Desires Campaign back in January, I made sure to establish two internal desires to serve as my foundation (guiding principles) as a pursued my two external goals of travel writing and book publishing. This has proven to be a wise move because it has allowed me to keep my focus on why I am doing what I’m doing, rather than on when or how it will all manifest. The formula for my first internal desire to “T.A.P into Happiness,” consists of T-rusting that G.O.D and my guides want my success more than I do, A-ccepting what manifests in my life, knowing all things (good and bad) are ultimately serving a perfect purpose, and being P-resent in my body with presence and gratitude at all times.

LESSON #4: A Daily Practice is Perfect for My Person

“After all is said and done, more is said than done.” -Aesop

I can not stress enough how important a consistent practice is in outsmarting the mental mind chatter and thought suggesting parasites that lie within. Aside from being present in my body and aware of my thoughts and actions without judgement, I have found mindful eating, physical exercise, being barefoot in nature and the Emotion Code to be the best techniques for me to sidestep the traps that the monkey mind/ gatekeeper sets up for my person on a daily basis. Sometimes I’m more successful than others and my person is always amazed at how easily it is to slip back into old habits. Yet, the key for me has been to realize things happen in cycles and even when you slip into old habits, it’s still serving a good purpose-if you say it is and believe it!

Manifest Your Desires Campaign Update

Based on the four lessons I learned, for the next four months, I’ve shifted my focus from my travel writing goals (what I’m passionate, but not that good at) to put more emphasis on my book publishing goal (what I’m passionate and good at). I realize now that publishing my book probably isn’t possible by Nov. 14th; however, a good thing that has come out of this realization is that I can solicit more reader participation to provide a better product and then generate more publicity and funding via Pubslush, (a crowdfunding site for authors), before my book is actually published.

Focus on Book Publishing

Coming up shortly, I’ll be conducting a survey to get feedback on your biggest challenges around conscious co-creation and for my upcoming book Prayers of a Virgin: 52 Weeks of Poetic Inspiration and Personal Planetary Guidance with the Destiny Cards. I’ll need your feedback so I can be sure to create the most effective product. I’m also planning to give away one free spot for my upcoming Conscious Co-Creation Retreat @ The Sanctuary in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, Sept. 19th-26th, so I’ll  keep you posted!

More Travel Guest Post and Pinterest Picture Posts

Instead of my person being stressed out about keeping up with unrealistic travel writing schedule, I plan to post more travel guest posts and a series of pinterest travel picture/personal quotes posts. Because I plan to focus more time at what I’m good at, this will allow for more creativity and flow, leading to more productivity in less time. If you are a travel writer or know of any good travel writers or posts, let me know!

Knowing “Why” You Want Something

Manifest Mondays

Today’s inspiration comes from Day 229 of Manifest Your Desires: 365 Ways to Make Your Dreams A Reality by Esther and Jerry Hicks. Enjoy!

Why you want something defines the essence of the what you want, and the Universe always delivers to you the vibrational essence of your desire….So, when you think about why you want something, you usually soften resistance; but when you think about when it will come to you or how it will come or who will help it to come, you often add resistance, especially if you do not already know the answers to those questions.”

Chapter 10: Conscious Co-Creation: Step 6 (Part 2)

ACTIVITY FOR STEP 6

Task #1

Create a scared space and take your time to write down all the ways that your person is not fully living and expressing the Divinity within you. Remember, we are talking about your “person” not your essential nature, which is perfect in and of itself, so using these terminologies help to keep things in perspective.

Task #2

Now imagine, or better yet, play out as if you were watching a movie, how these actions are affecting not only you, but the people in your life and the people that you were meant to assist, now and in the future. Make this movie as detailed, dramatic, and creative as your spirit allows you to. You can do it in sections (i.e, Act 1-My Person, Act 2- My Family, Act 3-My Sphere of Influence, etc). Or you can do the ghost of present, past and future, like in the Christmas Carol. It’s not important how you do it, but only that you put your total per-sona into it. How does this movie make your person feel? Does it bring up strong emotions? Allow any emotions of deep anger, sorrow, guilt or remorse to come up without resistance.

Task #3

Make a decision coming from your mind, heart, and will that you DEFINITELY don’t want anymore of what your person has just witnessed and felt. Write down and declare to the Universe what is absolutely unacceptable for your person from this day forward. (Remember, this is a game, so don’t worry if you don’t feel it strong. Just fake it until you make it, and KNOW your essential nature is always Divine).

Task #4

Now, write a letter to your inner family and make amends. Your inner child, your inner warrior, your inner nurturer, and your inner sage. Apologize for all the ways you’ve neglected, rejected, or overcompensated for these aspects of your being. Make the decision and choice to improve these relationships and then LISTEN and write down what they have to say in response to your new decision. You may be surprised by what they have to share as well. Until you choose to become best friends with your inner family, it becomes harder to make these changes. You need to let them know that you have their best interest in heart and mind and THEY have to let you know that they are on board with your new decision 100 percent. This is key.

Task #5

Imagine a life fully expressed as an aspect of Divinity. How would it feel? How would you spend your time? Who would you be loving and allowing to love you? Who would you be supporting and allowing to support you? What can you imagine is possible living the next greatest and latest version of who you declare yourself to be as a beautiful expression of Divinity? Take time to feel and experience these things as an extension to the new self-imagine that you’ve already seeded in Step #3. This activity helps to water, nourish and prune away blockages that would prevent the successful actualization of your next greatest and latest version of who you declare yourself to be as a beautiful expression of Divinity.

So, that was Step #6. Next, we’ll be covering the final step-(Yeah!) Step #7

Chapter 10: Conscious Co-Creation: Step 6

In this chapter, I’ll be sharing the sixth step to Becoming a Conscious Co-Creator and I’ll also have an action step for you at the end.

Step #6:

Use Genuine Remorse to Take You to Zero Point So You Can Powerfully Declare What You No Longer Want.

Before I get started on Step 6, we’ll do another quick review of the steps we’ve already covered:

Step 1: Know Who and What GOD Is

Step 2: Know Your Intrinsic Worth as an Aspect of Divinity

Step 3: Align Your Person, Your Power, and Your Purpose With the Creator of All That Is

Step 4: Allow Old Charge to Come Up Without Resistance

Step 5: Stay Present With Presence-Releasing the Need for Approval and the Need to Impress

As we release old charge, stay present with presence, and heal and open our hearts, we begin to touch into the true motivations for our actions and almost always, feelings of genuine remorse tend to come up. It is at this point, we begin to truly desire something better for this beautiful life we were given to express the glory of G.O.D. As we come to acknowledge that we were incarnated here to experience and express the divinity within us with grace and joy, knowing that our persons have fallen short of our promise, can bring about powerful emotions that can be used to take us to zero point.

So what is zero point and why do I say can be used to take us there? First of all, zero point is the lowest point of existence on a mental, emotional, or physical level that our persons can experience before we push the reset button. In a nutshell, it’s the death and rebirth process of transformation that’s necessary to change our lives. Now, I just want to point out here that our essential nature is guiltless and perfect as it is, and that’s why I say we are only using these emotions and thoughts as a catalyst to propel us to action. Here is where thoughts and emotions can serve a good purpose if we allow them to.

If we allow ourselves to ride these feelings like a wave (or even see it as a movie), we can use the momentum to firmly declare what we no longer want or view as acceptable in our lives. This process is similar to what the Scrooge goes through in the novella A Christmas Carol, when he gets to look into the future and see just how miserable his life will be if he continues on the same path.

In the Ausarian Drama, based on Eygptian or Kemitic mythology, I have always identified with the Shero’s journey that Auset (Isis) goes through to redeem the fallen King Ausar (Osirus) via the birth of their son. This story is the bases for the movie The Lion King that most people are more familiar with. The theme of this touching story essentially is that Auset desired and cared more about awaken the divinity within her, represented by Ausar, than she feared the oppressive system she was under or the unknown journey she was about to take. She desired to see in her life, this awaken divinity, seated on the throne of power more than she did her attachment to material possession, sensual desires or emotional drama.

In order to reach zero point in our lives, we all must have this kind of commitment to kill that which is no longer working and give birth to what is desired based on devotion and courage. Not only is it needed, but absolutely essential to bring into manifestation the next greatest and latest version of who we declare ourselves to Be. You’ve GOT to want it more than fear AND for the right reason. The right reason is that it’s your birthright and what you came here to express as a beautiful aspect of Divinity.

Okay, so with that said, here is your activity for this chapter…
